The Beach Boys and Jan and Dean's music heralds the coming of summer, feel good music that lightens up the day like the summer sun.

Ironically Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys wrote some of Jan and Deans songs

Did you think we wouldnt notice how you used Roy Orbison's photo for Roy Cash? Or the tv clip of Frank Sinatra Junior for Frank Sinatra?

Lost me right at the start: "Somethin' Stupid" WAS a Frank AND Nancy song - ALWAYS. It wasn't Nancy doing a song her father had done.

That and saying saying "Unforgettable" was the first of its kind. No it wasn't. I can think of at least one instance happening before and that was Hank Jr. and Sr.'s "Tear in my Beer" in 1988.

Old Nostalgic Nick always gets something wrong (at least once) in every video that I’ve ever watched - & I’ve been subbed for years - far too long, actually. “Nick” cannot be relied upon at all for facts.

Was anticipating seeing A.J.Croce doing his dad's songs (which he does now in his own live shows) but sadly not included in your video. Norbert Huston

The woman he danced with looked like Kim Novak in the Something Stupid duet, if so I was named after her by my late mother who was a fan. What happens when born in the 1950s, named after someone from the movies.

Good video, but I have to do a little nitpick on the Hank stuff. Some of the footage shown while talking about Sr. was actually a young Jr. in black and white, and then there was some footage of Shelton Williams aka Hank Williams III. Minnie Pearl told Hank III when she met him that he was a ghost because he's a dead ringer for his grandfather. It's easy to make that mistake though so I can give a little bit of leniency.

This video gets a down check due to the blatant bait and switch. The title says it's about children performing their parents' songs. Instead, the first three "examples" include two where the adult child is performing with the parent (digitally, in the case of the Coles) and the third is the adult singing a song written decades after the parent's death! None of these examples come even close to what was promised by the video title!

I feel like music these days are nothing but static because they're either demoralizing or outright cringe, whereas here, what's being and been said here actual means something. Rather glad I listened to the older generation moreso than the new.
